Garden of Grace Dress

I am so happy with my purchase. The dress fits beautifully.

This was my first order from Dainty Jewells. I was a bit nervous ordering online but I’m pretty happy with the dress. I’ve had it a few months now. I’d say it’s best for spring and fall. Even though it’s cotton, the lining makes it slightly too warm for summer (but perfect for cool weather). I’m happy with the craftsmanship- the seams and fabric are holding up well (and I don’t baby things in the wash).

For size reference I’m 5’5”, 220lbs, bust 48”, waist 40”, hips 47”.

The couple inches of ease with the 3x size was perfect. Due to the construction of the neckline and shoulders, sometimes it pulls a bit at my neck, but it’s not super bothersome because I can adjust it pretty easily. The elastic hem on the sleeves is a bit too tight for me (I have proportionate arms for my size), especially when I push the cuff up to my elbow, but it’s still wearable. The hem hits right below my knee after washing and drying.

The print fabric is my favorite thing - it reminds me of William Morris designs. Perfect for church and work: not too casual, not too fancy.
